Assumes the warranty for material damage which has its cause in the base material, coating or composite of both materials.

II. Warranty period

The warranty is provided for a period of five years in accordance with Qualicoat guidelines version 10 of 21/11/2002.
It commences with the date of delivery of the materials.

III. Type of use

The product is used in normal atmospheric conditions. Conversion for or later use under adverse environmental conditions (e.g. chemical industry, action of noxious fumes, salt spray, erosive dust, contaminants etc.) require our written consent in each individual case.

IV. Cleaning

Cleaning of the coated aluminium parts shall be carried out at least once a year and more often under adverse environmental
conditions. Dust and deposits of dirt are to be removed from the coated aluminium parts by washing with warm water with the addition of surficants which do not attack aluminium (eg Pril, Rei or similar). Use a soft sponge or cloth for cleaning. Acidic
or alkaline cleaning agents are not suitable. Furthermore the use of mechanical agents with abrasive properties which damage the surface of the coat are not suitable.

V. Warranty

We guarantee that
1. The physical properties of the substrate material remain within the scope of the respective DIN standard.
2. The coating material and the coating method used are suitable for the intended use of the product.
3. No peeling, bubbling or cracking of the paint coating which can lead to corrosion will occur under normal conditions
of use e.g. effects of weather.

4. Chalking, changes in tone or gloss are not detrimental
for the functioning of the product.

VI. Scope of warranty

A.S.T GmbH assumes liability for material damage resultant from the defects described if the cause is determined to be
defective quality of the material supplied. Our liability extends
to the costs occurred for rectification of damage but for a maximum value equivalent to the original invoiced amount
or for the replacement of defective quantities at no charge.
Whether defects are remedied by reworking or replacement remains at our discretion. Where replacement is made the
defective goods are to be placed at our disposal.
If as a result of technical advances the original material is no longer available for rectification of the defect replacement
will be made using an equivalent material.
The quantity required for rectification under the scope of warranty is specified with recording of the claim. Consequential
loss is excluded from the scope of the warranty. The warranty period for replacements or reworked materials is limited
to the period of the original warranty.

The warranty is invalidated:

1. If defects have been caused by incompetent processing
or improper use or use for which the materials were not
intended.
2. If defects occur as a result of contamination, damp, or condensation caused by unsuitable handling, storage or
transportation.
3. If defects have been caused by the use of force.
4. If cleaning is not carried out as specified in item

IV. Fittings

which may have been supplied with the delivery are classified as mechanically stressed wear parts and are excluded
from the warranty.
