Solutions incorporating expanded metal represent an extremely interesting alternative for modern facade design. As a result of the extensive range of expanded metals and sizes, AST focuses on individual planning and manufacturing, for the desired expanded metal format. Depending upon the expanded metal selected, there is a choice of several types of frame. This extends from the standard Model H frame through suitable extruded L- profiles to U-profiles. To cater for over-sizes, we have suitable solutions incorporating mullions and transoms. At the same time, every version is designed as a sliding or bi-fold sliding shutter, according to the type of application. By completely assembling the product before surface finishing, uniform powder coating with no bare patches or other blemishes is ensured. Of course, as is usual for AST, all models are available with pre-assembled fittings.
