The perfect combination of window shutters and protection against insects

Once again, AST is able to introduce another new product. AST was able to make further significant improvements to the construction frame with integral insect screen. Although the system has been successfully marketed for some time, additional useful benefits were still able to be incorporated into the revised system.

As well as the technical features, visual impact is one of the main criteria when designing insect screens. We therefore provide elegant, space-saving and above all, long-lasting protection. Not only ventilation, but an intimate evening by candlelight can now take place with the window open, without it being spoilt by tiresome insects and above all mosquito bites.

The following existing and new benefits are provided:

• completely integral insect roller screen in construction frame for window shutters.
• frame size 40 mm x 50 mm, roller blind box (upper width) 50 mm x 50 mm, thereby providing exactly the same elevation dimensions as for MR 40 mm x 50 mm without ISG (insect screen)
• easy to operate using ergonomic handles. integral centre adjustment mechanism incl. latching function
• brush seal as closing seal at the bottom, as well as to the cover frame at the rear
• automatic braking function of handle strip if accidentally released
• system designed for all standard closing options
• the shutters are preassembled in the factory (including locks) and are adjusted exactly to the ordered soffit depth
• available in all RAL colours and many special colours on request

Inside the 40 mm x 50 mm sized roller box, there is space for an insect roller screen with dimensions of up to (W x H) 2000 mm x 2400 mm.

The major advantage of this system is the pre-assembly of the complete shutters and hardware. On site, only the construction frame must be bolted on, the shutters mounted and the system is ready for use. The insect screen has already been adapted for the size of the respective element and adjusted. The model is constructed with an all-round high-quality 40 mm x 50 mm extruded aluminium profile frame. As with all products from AST, this product is assembled before coating to ensure that all parts are coated properly.

A further advantage of MR ISG is its unlimited combination with practically all model variants from AST. Our wide range of colours is of course also available for this product. This enables an individual note to be achieved through the colour of your choice every time.
