Previously available in black and white only - now in colour. An optimum solution for holding the shutter in the open position. Irrespective of window or door fitting, the convenient arrest provides perfect and secure support for the shutter.

With a simple hand movement, elements can be closed again. Depending on the height of the shutters, they are able be fitted at the base of the shutter, or to the transom or crossbar. As a result of being able to be coated, the hardware can now be harmonized with the colour of the shutters or facade, thus providing an additional advantage.

Due to assembly of the item after coating, a uniform powder coating with no areas of bare metal or other impairments is ensured.

The sliding shutter with or without perforations


This model range is definitely one of the main areas of the sliding and bi-fold sliding shutter sector.
The differing design variants mean that there are practically no standards in this model range. Construction can either be with a 70x30 mm profile frame, or sometimes with no frame at all. 2mm aluminium sheeting is used to cover one or both sides. To cater for oversizes, we have suitable solutions incorporating mullions and transoms. With the wide range of configurations possible, AST concentrates on custom design and manufacturing here as well. Almost unlimited possibilities for choosing patterns of perforations are available to the customer. As well as standard designs (square and circular perforations) a maximum number of differing appearances can be created. Even special designs spanning more than one panel, such as oriental flower patterns etc., do not pose any problem for AST.

By complete assembly of the product before surface finishing, uniform powder coating with no bare patches or other blemishes is ensured. Of course, as is usual for AST, all models are available with pre-assembled fittings.

Solutions incorporating expanded metal represent an extremely interesting alternative for modern facade design. As a result of the extensive range of expanded metals and sizes, AST focuses on individual planning and manufacturing, for the desired expanded metal format. Depending upon the expanded metal selected, there is a choice of several types of frame. This extends from the standard Model H frame through suitable extruded L- profiles to U-profiles. To cater for over-sizes, we have suitable solutions incorporating mullions and transoms. At the same time, every version is designed as a sliding or bi-fold sliding shutter, according to the type of application. By completely assembling the product before surface finishing, uniform powder coating with no bare patches or other blemishes is ensured.
