AST PRESS DAYS - INFORMATION AT FIRST HAND

As part of our on-going marketing activities, we invited journalists from leading trade publications to participate in our press days at the end of June in Vorarlberg. As well as a tour of the plant, an additional highlight was a visit to the multiple award-winning "Sandgrubenweg" development in Bregenz. This has been fitted with sliding shutters model SL from the house of AST in two stages and due to the rounded shape of the building, represents a perfect execution of this special solution.

The presentation of other finished projects and newly–developed models was given an enthusiastic reception by the trade journalists. Again, on behalf of AST many thanks to the participating publications.

SOLTIS MODEL – FURTHER DEVELOPMENT OF PRODUCT

The extremely popular Soltis model (aluminium frame with Soltis material
covering) has undergone further development by our company. The fabric covering
is now secured in the frame using a weatherstrip profile and clamping screws.

This makes readjustment of the covering much easier, and significantly
improves the appearance of this high-quality product. The Soltis model
now also comes with an extruded 71x31 frame profile as standard, and
can therefore be used as a folding shutter. The 40x40 frame is still
available for delivery on request.

MAXIMUM PROTECTION FROM THE SUN THANKS TO STATE-OF-THE-ART COATING TECHNOLOGY

Aggressive UV radiation makes colours fade and
coatings brittle in the long term.

products have maximum weather resistance and colour fastness.

The new process provides maximum colour fastness, even after several years, and is impressive
because of its excellent soiling resistance. Slower film degradation, good chemical resistance and
outstanding chalking resistance also speak in favour of the innovative process, which can be used
with the majority of RAL colours, of course. All internationally recognised quality standards are taken
into consideration during the development and manufacture of the product.
