CHANGES TO FRENCH ITEMS

In order to be able to supply you with even higher quality products quickly, the complete stock of long hinges, angle hinges, cross hinges and counter pieces is being changed to uncoated  parts.

The hinges will then be coated on demand in the colour of your choice. As a result, there will also be slight adjustments to the price of individual items.

Furthermore the long hinges and their counter pieces will be limited to the standard sizes of 270 mm and 560 mm. Orders received from January 1 2012 onwards will be scheduled and supplied on this basis. In the event of any queries, simply contact your AST personal contact.

Time saving and optimization for our customers:

To simplify the quoting and order-processing procedures we have recently introduced a system of product groups into our documents.

This provides you with a clear overview of the items quoted or ordered, arranged in classifications such as e.g. brackets, strips, latches etc.

The total number of panels as well as fittings are again shown separately.

This enables you as a customer to compare the AST variants quoted more easily, as well as facilitating order checking in the shortest possible time.

CUSTOM SPACING OF LAMELLAE

Custom design of Models: As an additional highlight of our range, we offer our customers the opportunity to specify their own spacing between lamellae on Model A / Sys A, as well as other models.

This possibility is increasingly popular with our customers, particularly for frontally-mounted solar protection elements. Practically already a standard for special models, this is now a custom option on the Model A / Sys A range. Each panel can be given a custom look matched optimally to the building's overall appearance.

MAGENTIC RETAINER FOR SHUTTER ADJUSTMENT RODS

New and improved products, better matched to fulfil customers' requirements, are continuously being introduced into the hardware range too. We are pleased to introduce one such product today. The magnetic retainer is the ideal solution for holding the shutter adjustment rod in position on the facade.

No more plastic or other such discordant attachments or loose-hanging rods: the magnetic retainer keeps the rod neatly in place. The great advantage this product provides is its ability to be coated and thus matched to the colour of the shutters or the facade. Furthermore the compact size is an additional plus.
